Daegu tourist spots on air


Not just for industrial fame, the city of Daegu was the hometown of famous movie stars and singers. And to follow their tracks and to visit places filmed on air, travelers visit Daegu. Among various spots, 3 places are highly recommended.




The first to visit is newly rising landmark of Daegu, The ARC. First known as a fliming site of famous entertainment program named ‘Running Man’, the building was designed with theme of water and lake. Three story building is used for exhibitions except 3rd floor. Cafe and observatory on 3rd floor is taking spotlight as a photo spot.

Next to visit is Ayang Railroad. The place got fame as filming site of Korean Drama ‘Oh, My Venus’ and site itself  was awarded at Red Dot Design Award. Along with The ARC, Ayang Railroad is also one of the 5 most beautiful night view in Daegu.

Though the center building look like a tunnel, exhibition hall and cafe present cozy time unlike to other common abandoned railroads.




The last place to visit is the E-world. Also a fliming site of famous entertainment program named ‘Running Man’, this amusement park has exciting rides including ‘Boomerang’ presenting 5.2G and ‘360 Mega Swing’ to enjoy cityscape of Daegu upside down.

Along with exciting rides, festivals with cherry blossoms, cosmos and sunflower, Illumination Festival in winter presents unique experience.

Ten Cuisines of Daegu

Each city has its own cuisine representing one's town. Here in Daegu, among numerous mouthwatering cuisines, we'd like to introduce ten selected cuisines. Daegu Colorful Festival which held for 2 days from May 27th, will be introduced through SNS influencers from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan. Daegu City officials have invited 8 foreign influencers for the promotion of Daegu Colorful Festival and tourist spots which held for 4 days. This invitation was to promote foreign visitors to join the festival and for diversity of tourism industry.
